My design process typically begins with program adjacency analysis and hand-drawn sketches, which I find allows me to connect with my creative vision in a way that digital tools can't match. From there, I use industry-standard software to explore and develop my ideas further, leveraging digital tools to refine and iterate on my design. This allows me to focus on the technical aspects of the design, such as spatial relationships and functional requirements. Finally, I often return to hand drawing for most final presentations, as the direct connection to my creative vision and the ability to convey complex information through simple, expressive lines remains essential to my design process.
